Despite global economic turbulence, Vietnam remains a bright spot with a projected GDP growth rate of 7.5% in 2022, controlled inflation, a strong supply chain recovery, and a record-high disbursement of foreign investment reaching $12.8 billion in the first eight months of the year.

Along with a strong economic recovery, M&A activities in Vietnam are expected to regain momentum in the near future, especially in the context of tightened domestic capital sources, forcing many businesses to restructure, divest assets, and seek investments amid financial constraints.

With the theme “Igniting new opportunities”, the 14th Vietnam M&A Forum – 2022, an annual event on mergers and acquisitions and investment connections in Vietnam, is organized by the Investment Review under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The forum serves as a platform for experts to discuss trends and opportunities in Vietnam’s M&A market, attracting the participation of strong domestic enterprises and foreign investors, particularly those with significant available capital.
